This guy is in the same lineage as the crafty gnome from day 32, but wearing a cooler hat and in better company. You see, I believe he has chosen to protect and nourish this young lifeform. Which is an unselfish thing some lifeforms do for others, I feel it's both odd and completely natural, also quite rewarding and not at all easy.
