#the100dayproject here we go!

The idea behind the 100 day project is pretty simple. Chose something to do and do it for 100 days and post your progress. I think this is particularly optimistic right now that we are in the middle of a global emergency. In my case, I feel like I do well emotionally if I create some sort of structure or routine for my daily actions and I'm hoping creating these small pieces will keep me sane.

I'm not new to these challenges, it was only 4 years ago that I made a series of 50 daily paintings that sold out through my mailing list, and I also made 29 kinetic sculptures in a month a couple of years ago that were quite popular.

As you can see in the background and the second picture, I have cut a lot of small chunks of my favorite 1/2" baltic birch plywood. I had some that I bought a few months ago from a local wood shop.  Any given side on each block is no longer than 5 inches and no less than 2.5 inches, but I wanted some variety in sizes because they look cool together.

I'm posting pictures of these pieces with the hashtag #100daysOfWolfcat but they will only be available for purchase to Patrons. I'll write more about where the ideas and inspiration came from for each piece in the Patron only posts, along with a link to purchase.

The pieces are not bigger than 5 inches because they fit nicely in a USPS flat rate box, which I'll be using to ship them. And I'll be shipping every 2 weeks only to give people a chance to buy multiples that can go in the same package, and to make it easy on myself and maybe the postal system too.

All pieces will have the same price. I think it's hard to judge the value based on size alone since some small pieces will take more work and it all should average in the long run. I also like simplicity. I'm making each piece $30 only because this is my first Patreon project and I wanna offer my patrons an affordable option as I learn to nurture a community of supporters.

Thank you for following along!
