rainy days are the best for sketching sleepy cats.
I was experimenting with morning pages by drawing for 10 min first thing in the morning. This was completed over 3 days.

some human monks meditate -and sleep- so long that they turn into cats.
I think he is saying: “there is a place over there we have not seen today”
another set of weird characters. I like the way king Worm turned out. the jagged crown is cool. the other guy seems a bit out of it. the overall feel was Sendak inspired. I think he could have a stronger pose.

I just came back from a wonderful road trip with my brother. This land is huge.
some sketches I did while driving across the US. I didn’t draw a lot during the trip, mostly enjoyed this vast land and my wonderful brother.
