94/100 - Sleep protectors
Corvids have a reputation for trickery and mischief in human storytelling. And I don't doubt it's well earned as they are smart, curious and rather funny looking. One of my favorite things is to see the occasional crow that perches on the utility pole outside my window, cawing like crazy, cawing for a reason I can't understand. I love black things of course, no surprises there, but I love black and funny things even more.
That said I felt like going against the stream and depicting a couple of magpies as protectors, watching out for a sleeping creature on a sentient chair. This may be a side of them we don't have the privilege of seeing often but it's most likely there all the time.
