89/100 - Birdhouse family

Making one-offs is fun because I don't feel I have to commit to some of these characters for a long time, but I commit just enough to see them realized, just a little more than a simple sketch, and I keep on getting ideas for including them in longer stories. One difficult thing about longer stories is that you have to really devote yourself to the form of the character, which is rewarding but like any new relationship it's also daunting and filled with insecurities. I'm finding this exercise to be a good middle ground.

Here it seems like the magpie moved into the house and grew longer legs, while also managing to care for a little one. This one is 3" by 4" and it's available here(sold).
