64/100 - Crossroads

Our character seems to be on a straight path but he's unaware that there are more options. I aimed for a sleepwalking kind of pose because that's the way it feels sometimes as we go on charted roads that have no detour signs or even hints at alternatives. But as almost any aging person will accept, the roads they were following at some point always had unexpected detours and didn't exactly lead where advertised.

But it isn't necessarily pleasant to think about the possibilities that hide in every corner, in every moment. Sometimes walking a well tiled pathway is a joy too. Pattern itself makes an argument for repetition: there is also beauty in recurrence. Tradition is a form of venerable pattern.
