55/100 - Blue idol

While the creature on the left shows reverence, the creature on the right shows compassion. I personally think there is something humorous about the grandiosity of the central pillar.
It is strange to talk about these things as if I didn't create them, as if there wasn't some intention when I made them. But it is also very real, even as a write this I'm looking at the image on the screen so it's one step removed. And they also happen, they take shape as they are created in the scramble between my intentions and the materials I use, wood itself and what ink wants to do seem to have as much influence as I do in the final product.
Maybe I'm the pillar and the these creatures are my creations. Some of them might look up to me full of gratitude for I am their Maker, and some look at me with affection but with a healthier sense of independence. Soon, they know, I will come around an understand they made me as much as I made them.
