5/100 - Mad Bird
I'll keep it short since it's the weekend (whatever that means in these times). There are tons of black birds in human myths. The one I was looking at when I drew this 6 eyed, plant looking headpiece wearing weirdo, was a little clay figurine of Yatagarasu that my partner Yuki brought from Japan that you can see below.
Yataragasu is a three-legged crow and a symbol of guidance, so not particularly mad, but I can't help but bring images of mischief when I think of black birds. Smart, magical and wonderfully monochrome black birds.
