50/100 - Leaping through the gate

In celebration of 50 consecutive days of making I drew a blocky cat leaping through a gate. That's me! It feels nice to be at the halfway point and even nicer to know I didn't do it alone. It was thanks to your support and encouragement. I'm really grateful that you've been there all along.
Here is a picture of all the 36 pieces I have with me, which includes the one ones I haven't shipped yet. They look nicer on the wall but it's fun to see the relative sizes too:

It has been fun writing everyday too, and hearing from you that it has been fun the read is such a gift. I don't think of myself as a writer and English is not my first language, so there are still times when writing in English feels like I'm an impostor living in someone else's house, trying to be them without breaking their belongings but still eating the food in their fridge. Though I'd probably feel the same about writing in spanish at this point since 99.9% of my life is lived in English and I rarely read in Spanish anymore.
Sometimes I hold this language instability responsible for me turning so seriously to image-making. But at the same time there are aspects of image-making that also feel like metaphorical home invasion, I think I'll expand on that another day.
Thank you so much for your support! And I hope you are staying safe.
The little drawing of blocky cat leaping out of the house of language is 2.5" by 2.5". Available here(sold).
