13/100 - Mismatched

It started as a sketch where a creature couldn't fit a block into its proper hole, but that's not quite where it ended. I now see a creature emerging from the waters feeling triumphant for having accomplished something with it's strange mismatched appendages.
And that describes how I often feel, I mean, these things at the end of my arms are beautiful and weird. They perform all sorts of tasks, from dangerous -I'm thinking about you table saw- to extremely delicate. Just take a moment to look at your hands and and marvel at them. Aren't you grateful?
This celebration of uncommon appendages lives on a 2.75" by 2.75" piece of birch plywood, and it's available for purchase here(sold).
