1/100 - Mindless

For my first piece I revisited a drawing from last year. But while that drawing was a bit sad I wanted to give this one a smile.  Maybe as a way of giving myself permission to be a little bit mindless.

Last year's drawing was actually inspired by an Inktober prompt (incidentally, I collected all of those drawings on this zine) and it's much more elaborate given that I had more space to work with.

While that character feels a bit trapped the new one is perhaps dreaming, or meditating, as if he can be transported into a much larger space hinted at by the circular star field behind.

I included a pic of the back of the piece to show you the mounting system I created for this series. I wanted an easy way to attach a screw mount, and a way to separate the panels from the wall. The latter explains the need to add a separate support which in this case I used as the branding. I think it looks clean overall even though I'll will be hidden for most of its lifetime.

Here is the link to purchase 1/100 (Update: sold). The size is 2.5" by 2.75". My plan is to ship these every two weeks in in case you get more than one, but feel free to leave me note or send me a message if you want me to send it sooner or as a gift.
