for its yellow-gold color on the &#8220;eye&#8221; inlays<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cercidiphyllum\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cercidiphyllum\">Katsura wood<\/a> (\u30ab\u30c4\u30e9) &#8211; on the main drawing area<\/li><li>Japanese Cedar (\u30b9\u30ae) &#8211; on top for its reddish tone<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Liriodendron_tulipifera\">Poplar, aka American tulipwood<\/a> &#8211; for it&#8217;s green tone, more noticeable on the back. <\/li><li>Baltic birch plywood &#8211; because it&#8217;s a staple for making all sorts of things around here and it cuts so well on the laser cutter. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been experimenting with making more process videos.
